Diamond Cutting

Precision CNC turning for a flawless two tone finish.

Many modern cars from Mercedes, BMW and Audi come with diamond cut alloys, with their bright, bare metal face. Once they're kerbed or corroded, a standard powder coat can't bring that look back.

Our CNC lathe maps the exact profile of your wheel and cuts a fine layer from the face, returning it to a bright factory finish before it's sealed with a protective lacquer.

  • Laser profiling for exact factory dimensions
  • CNC turning removes kerb damage
  • Restores the sharp two tone look
  • Sealed with OEM grade clear lacquer

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can all alloy wheels be diamond cut?

No. The wheel needs to have had a diamond cut finish from the factory. We can't diamond cut a standard painted wheel.

How precise is the CNC restoration?

We restore the factory profile to within 0.1mm using laser mapping, so the finish matches the original.

What if there's deep structural damage?

If kerbing has affected the structure or safety of the wheel, we won't diamond cut it. We may recommend a powder coat repair instead.

How long does a diamond cut finish last?

The clear lacquer protection typically lasts 5 to 7 years. We also offer an affordable recoat service to keep it looking its best.

Which makes do you work on?

All modern premium brands with diamond cut alloys, including Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Tesla, Bentley and Rolls Royce.
