Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is powder coating better than liquid paint?

For wheels and components, yes. Powder coating is 3 to 5 times more durable, gives a more even finish and resists chips and scratches far better.

How many colours do you offer?

Over 500 RAL colours, plus metallic and matte finishes and high temperature coatings for engine bays and brake calipers.

Can any component be powder coated?

Most metal components can. We can't coat electronics, or parts that need precise tolerances such as bearings or springs.

How long does powder coating last?

Typically 10 to 15 years or more with normal care. The finish resists heat and chemicals throughout its life.

What's the usual turnaround time?

Usually 5 to 7 working days from drop off to collection, depending on the parts and the coating.
